Nigerian singer Tolibian has shared his personal battle with depression following the decline in attention around his viral song ‘Ramadan’.
The track gained massive popularity on social media during the Ramadan fast, which ran from February to March 2025. Its widespread appeal even attracted rapper Odumodublvck, who later collaborated with Tolibian on a remix.
Speaking in a recent interview with content creator Akin Abolade, Tolibian admitted that the sudden drop in buzz after the song’s peak left him feeling low.
“After the buzz of ‘Ramadan’ faded, I became depressed at some point,” he revealed.
Despite the emotional setback, Tolibian remains hopeful. He described the song as “evergreen” and expressed confidence that it would resurface during the next Ramadan season. The artist also vowed to stay consistent in his craft until he lands his next big hit.
