President Bola Tinubu has acknowledged the resignation of his spokesman and Special Presidential Envoy on Climate Action, Ajuri Ngelale, who stepped down due to personal and health-related reasons.
According to a statement released by the presidency on Saturday, the President accepted Ngelale’s decision, expressing his understanding and sympathy for the circumstances that led to his resignation.
President Tinubu extended his prayers and best wishes to Ngelale and his family, hoping for a swift recovery and full restoration of health for the affected family members.
He also commended Ngelale for his dedication and contributions to the nation, particularly in fostering national dialogue and spearheading efforts on climate action and other critical initiatives.
“The President wishes him well in all his future endeavours. During this period, we kindly ask that the wish for privacy of Chief Ngelale and his family be respected,” said the statement.
