Though Wizkid has been trailed with some scandals, but he has managed to stay up in his game while rolling and rubbing shoulders with the big boys of the razzmatazz business.
Another feather was recently added to his cap when he was reported to have been signed on Akon’s Konvict music record label, where he is to take his music and release to the international market – a signing which has been denied.
To the main matter, Wizkid was one the artistes billed to perform at the just concluded KOGA’s Top 10 Mics held at the Tafawa Balewa Stadium (TBS), Lagos on Friday, December 23, 2011.
He stepped on stage late in the early hours of Saturday morning for the show.
When he was called on stage to do his live band performance, he mounted the stage and as usual, ran through the stage to make the audience have a feel of his gingered energy, but alas!, the Pakurumo crooner slipped off stage but was helped by fans standing in front of the stage.
Laughing it off, Wizkid said, “na wa for those who do this stage o, dey wan wound man pickin.”
