Popular TikTok personality, Peller, has sent shockwaves across social media, recounting a harrowing four-day ordeal in police custody following his recent arrest in Lagos. The content creator claims he was denied basic necessities, including food and bathing facilities, an allegation that has sparked concern among his followers.
The Arrest and Charges Unveiled
The incident leading to Peller’s detention began on July 2nd when he and his friend, Bello Oladipo, were apprehended by officers of the Lagos State Police Command. They were stopped on the busy Lagos-Calabar Coastal road for driving a vehicle reportedly without a plate number. The situation escalated, culminating in their arrest for alleged obstruction of police officers while on duty.
A week later, on Monday, July 9th, Peller and Oladipo were arraigned before a Magistrate court in the state. They face a three-count charge which includes:
