Popular Nigerian TikTok content creator Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, famously known as Jarvis, has addressed ongoing speculations regarding her decision to shave her head ahead of her recent wedding to fellow influencer Peller.
The Truth Behind the Shaved Look
Following their highly publicized nuptials, rumors quickly began circulating online suggesting that Jarvis underwent the haircut as a mandatory requirement for traditional marriage rites. However, the content creator has firmly debunked these claims in a video broadcast, clarifying that the decision was purely aesthetic and professional.
Stylist’s Recommendation, Not Tradition
Addressing her followers directly, Jarvis expressed her joy over the successful ceremonies while putting an end to the gossip. She explained that the haircut was recommended by her hair stylist to ensure her wedding wig and frontal installation sat flawlessly.
“The wedding is finally over and I’m super happy. I’m proud of myself and my husband,” she stated. Dismantling the rumors, she added, “For those of you speculating that I barbed my hair for my wedding as part of some tribal marriage rites, shut up. I barbed my hair because I wanted my hair installation to be perfect.”
According to the creator, managing her natural hair has always been a challenge when trying to achieve seamless wig installations. She explained that her stylist advised the clean shave because she has stubborn hair, which often prevented her frontals from sitting properly.
A Double Wedding Celebration
The couple, who have built a massive joint following on social media, celebrated their love with two beautiful ceremonies. Jarvis and Peller officially kicked off their wedding festivities with a traditional ceremony on Thursday, August 1, 2026. This was closely followed by an elegant white wedding on Saturday, August 8, 2026, surrounded by friends, family, and fellow creators.
