Mr. Macaroni, a comedian and actor, has responded to the threats issued by Musiliu Akinsanya, Chairman of the Lagos State Parks Management Committee, also known as MC Oluomo to Igbos, ahead of this weekend’s governorship and house of assembly elections.
Threatening and intimidating voters is illegal, according to Mr. Macaroni’s response to MC Oluomo’s threat.
MC Oluomo, speaking to supporters of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in a viral video, advised Igbos not to vote for the party.
In response, Mr. Macaroni stated that threatening and intimidating voters is illegal and should be condemned by everyone.
He also shared a video of the Lagos State Commissioner of Police urging residents to hold him accountable for the safety and protection of voters.
“The Lagos State Commissioner of Police has asked us to hold him accountable and responsible for the safety and protection of voters. Dear sir, we are already being threatened. The people are counting on you sir. @LagosPoliceNG @BenHundeyin
