The Central Bank of Nigeria has announced that new naira notes will be issued before the end of the year.
The newly redesigned Naira notes will go into circulation on December 15, 2022.
CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele made the announcement at a press conference on Wednesday.
According to the Apex Bank CEO, the new currencies will include the N200, N500, and N1000 notes.
He advised Nigerians to exchange their old notes for new ones at banks.
