Terry Tha Rapman born Terry Masaki, has changed his stage name to T.R, in doing so he joined other Nigerian celebrities who changed their name.
Sauce Kid changed his name to Sinzu, and D’banj unsuccessfully attempted to change his name to Daniel Anderson not so long ago.
According to the rapper, ‘T.R is the abbreviation of my stage name Terry Tha Rapman. I just abbreviated it to reflect the contemporary tastes in urban music today, essentially it is still the same name, just abbreviated,’ he revealed.
‘For fans searching (for) me on twitter, the new handle is @iamlord_TR,’ he added.
