Nollywood seems to be experiencing a new wave of celebrity drama as actress Doris Ogala publicly confronts Tonto Dikeh, leading many to believe their once-close relationship has taken a turn for the worse.
The controversy began on Instagram after Doris shared a harsh message that was originally posted by someone believed to be part of Tonto’s inner circle, identified as Sheddy of Lagos.
In the widely circulated post, Sheddy accused Doris of being ungrateful and full of resentment, while also alleging that Tonto had gifted her a brand-new Bentley.
“Dear @dorisogala, how can you be so ungrateful and bitter? Same, you, King Tonto, gave a brand new Bentley? Just so you know, King Tonto is not your problem; your low self-esteem is… I speak peace into your chaotic life,” the message stated.
The bold accusation, especially the part about receiving a Bentley, quickly gained traction online. Doris, however, vehemently denied ever getting such a gift. In a heated reply, she made it clear she has no connection with Sheddy or the alleged Bentley, insisting she never had such discussions.
“I don’t know who you are. I believe Tonto sent you to do this because I’ve never met or discussed Bentley with you. If your Tonto claims she gifted me Bentley, let her say it herself,” Doris responded.
She went on to accuse Tonto of enlisting others to target her online and cautioned that the situation could lead to legal consequences.
“Next time you mention my name on your page in such a defamatory and cyberbullying way, I will have you arrested,” she warned.
Doris wrapped up her post with a firm and bold statement: “Trust me, this may not end well. I’m not your regular girl.”
