A lighthearted moment unfolded between Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Tems and a younger male fan during her set at the Lollapalooza Festival in Paris, France.
In a trending video clip, Tems is seen stepping down to interact with the crowd mid-performance. Approaching a male fan, she paused to ask his age. Upon learning he was just 22, the 31-year-old singer hesitated to serenade him, visibly amused and slightly shy.
However, the young fan enthusiastically responded, “It’s okay, I like older women,” encouraging her to go ahead. Tems, blushing, eventually gave in and serenaded him — to the crowd’s delight.
The playful encounter has generated plenty of social media buzz, especially given Tems’ reputation as a self-proclaimed introvert.
Interestingly, this wasn’t the first time the “Love Me Jeje” singer has serenaded male fans during her live sets. Over the summer, she’s been seen incorporating more direct fan interactions into her performances — a notable shift from her earlier, more reserved stage presence.
