President Goodluck Jonathan has approved the award of national honours to a total of 305 “Nigerians and friends of Nigeria” in various categories for the 2013/2014 national honours award.

Although the list is dominated by known names in politics, sports, entertainment, business and the corporate world, it also features names off the spotlight whose lives are nevertheless worthy of emulation.
