Stay away from prosperity Churches – John Boyega advises Christians

British-Nigerian actor, John Boyega has advised Christians not to go to Churches that ignores the current issues happening in the world.

He also called for the boycott of churches that preaches only prosperity every Sunday.

He tweeted;

“Christians. Don’t go back to a church that ignores the current issues. Prosperity preaching every Sunday. Kmt.”

However, a follower asked whether the actor understand the reason people go to Church. The follower also stated that Churches should not be concerned with politics.

“Someone doesn’t understand the point of going to church. They’re not meant to be concerned with politics”, the follower wrote.

John Boyega replied by tweeting “We are the church. Yes we are.”
