Controversial Nigerian rapper Speed Darlington has raised questions about Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy’s relationship with embattled American music executive Sean Combs, also known as Diddy, following Diddy’s indictment for sex trafficking.
According to NAIJALOG, federal agents seized items meant for use in wild parties, including drugs and over 1,000 bottles of baby oil, during a raid on Diddy’s $61 million Beverly Hills mansion in March. Diddy was arrested by Homeland Security on Monday on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and interstate transportation for prostitution.
In a viral video released on Friday, Speed Darlington urged Burna Boy to address any potential misconduct by Diddy before the executive produced his Grammy-winning album, *Twice As Tall* (2021). He provocatively commented, “Burna Boy took a picture with Diddy and he won a Grammy not long after. Burna don’t get offended, how much oil did Diddy use on you before they gave you that Grammy?”
Burna Boy has yet to respond to the remarks.
Meanwhile, Diddy, who pleaded not guilty to the charges on September 17, has had his bail request denied twice and is currently under suicide watch amid the ongoing trial.
