AKA, a South African rapper better known by his stage name Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, was fatally shot in a drive-by shooting.
According to police sources, the incident happened on Florida Road in Durban, South Africa, on Friday night. It’s thought that two shooters in two cars attacked the rapper around 10 o’clock in the evening.
AKA was slain outside a restaurant on Florida Road while his route to the YUGO nightclub in Stamford Hill, Durban, to celebrate his birthday.
AKA was reportedly killed in a drive-by shooting while waiting outside the Wish Restaurant. The incident also resulted in injuries to the rapper’s bodyguard.
