Sheree Zampino, the former wife of Will Smith, has reportedly filed a lawsuit against Bilaal Salaam over alleged defamatory comments made during a recent interview.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Zampino accused Salaam of making “outrageously offensive, shocking, and hurtful statements” about her personal life while appearing on Unwine with Tasha K hosted by Tasha K.
The lawsuit reportedly referenced a promotional clip shared online on May 4, which allegedly carried the caption: “Exclusive: Bilaal claims Will Smith’s ex-wife Sheree Zampino was sleeping with everyone in Hollywood.”
Zampino further alleged that Salaam repeated similar claims during the interview, reportedly referring to her as a “whore” multiple times and accusing her of “screwing everybody in Hollywood.”
Salaam, who was previously associated with Will Smith, has made controversial allegations about the actor and his associates in the past. Reports also indicate he is involved in a separate legal issue with Jada Pinkett Smith over alleged threats.
In the suit, Zampino maintained that the allegations are entirely false and constitute slander under California law because they portray her as promiscuous.
She claimed the statements caused humiliation, embarrassment, emotional distress, and mental suffering.
Zampino is reportedly seeking over $1 million in damages, alongside punitive damages and legal expenses, for alleged slander and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
