Sharon Adeleke, the elder sister of Afrobeats superstar Davido, has publicly called out Nigerian service providers after a frustrating experience with an unpunctual hairstylist.
In a video shared on social media, the entrepreneur and founder of Rona Wigs recounted how she booked a hair appointment for 8:00 AM, only for the stylist to arrive nearly an hour late without proper communication.
Rather than continuing to wait, Sharon decided to take control of the situation. She retrieved her personal hair care products and completed the wig installation herself before the service provider finally appeared.
Expressing her annoyance, Sharon noted that the stylist charged premium rates for a routine installation yet demonstrated a clear lack of professional courtesy. She also criticized the entourage accompanying the stylist, who offered simple apologies instead of addressing the delay seriously.
Turning Frustration Into Self Reliance
This experience reflects a recurring theme in Sharon’s journey with beauty vendors. In the past, she explained that dealing with unreliable stylists motivated her to master wig making independently. That decision ultimately inspired her to launch Rona Wigs, a business born out of a desire for quality and efficiency.
Following the latest incident, Sharon emphasized her commitment to expanding her personal hair styling skills even further, making it clear she no longer intends to depend on service providers who do not respect their clients’ time.
