Comedian Seyi Law has raised concerns about President Tinubu’s decision to acquire a presidential yacht and has decided to retract his support.
Despite his consistent backing of the Tinubu administration, even to the extent that his daughter received death threats due to his affiliation, Seyi Law has become disheartened by the revelation of a supplementary loan budget. This budget includes a provision of 5 billion Naira for the purchase of a presidential yacht, a move that has sparked public apprehension, particularly given the country’s deteriorating economic situation where many are facing financial hardships.
In his words;
“I am absolutely not in support of the procurement of the presidential yacht. It is quite insensitive to the plight of Nigerians at this moment to even rationalise it. I call on the president, @officialABAT, to once again prove to Nigerians that he listens. Thank you, your Excellency.”
