The two students of the Federal Government College, Okposi, Ebonyi State, who were initially declared missing, have been found dead.

Reports gathered that the students were found dead on Monday in a statement by Okposi E-8, an organisation of elites resident in Abuja from Okposi in Ohaozara Local Government Area, Ebonyi State.

In the statement made available to the eagle online on Tuesday, the Chairman and Secretary of the association, Barrister Emenike Joseph Okorie and Barrister Ugochukwu Ezekiel, urged the security agencies to be thorough in their investigation.

It added: “This is the first time that such bizarre development is being reported in Federal Government College, Okposi since the establishment of the School in 1965.

“We encourage our people, friends and lovers of our Community to rise to this new challenge and provide adequate information to law enforcement agents for a thorough investigation to establish the cause of death. All concerned should not pander to sentiments but allow reason and morality to prevail.

“Our hearts go out to the family of the deceased, the School, and the entire Okposi.
