Veteran Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has stirred reactions online after condemning women who willingly become second wives.
Taking to Instagram, the actress endorsed a cleric’s sermon criticizing the practice and delivered a strong message to women involved.
She argued that marrying someone else’s husband is an act of greed and selfishness, insisting such unions thrive on the tears and pain of others.
Rita emphasized that there is no dignity in being a second wife, warning that those who build happiness on another woman’s sorrow will eventually face its repercussions.
