President Umaro Sissoco Embalo received him at the Osvaldo Vieira International Airport in Bissau, the nation’s capital, on Thursday morning. Although Guinea-Bissau celebrated its 50th Independence Anniversary on September 24, 2023, the government has scheduled all celebrations for November 16, 2023. According to a statement issued on Wednesday by the presidential spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu is expected to return to Abuja on Thursday.
