Controversial artist Portable has criticized a specific Sony Music artist for giving him “bad advice” during their recent meeting with Davido in the US.
It should be noted that the two Nigerian musicians met up in Atlanta, US and shared a meal together.
Portable, as seen in a video that circulated online, expressed his frustration with the advice he received.
He mentioned that he was advised by someone from Sony Music to join Empire music group, which he believes is a bigger opportunity. He questioned why he wasn’t encouraged to join Sony instead, as it would boost his global recognition.
Portable stressed that he is seeking music connections that will elevate him from zero to 100.
It’s worth noting that Davido signed a deal with Sony Music in 2016 and later renewed the deal in 2023.
