Popular Yoruba actress, Aisha Abimbola ‘Omoge Campus’ dies in Canada

Nollywood has been thrown into mourning once again as popular actress, Aisha Abimbola otherwise called ‘Omoge Campus’ has been reported dead.

The 46-year old pretty actress reportedly died of breast cancer last night in Canada, according to her colleague, Bisola Badmus.

Bisola Badmus, who shared the news on Instagram wrote; “Gone so soon RIP omogecampus.”

The deceased allegedly died of breast cancer in Canada. Late Aisha Abimbola was born on December 19, in Epe, Lagos lsland, Lagos state. She studied Hotel Management from Lagos state Polytechnic (LASPOTECH).

Abimbola shot into limelight with her role in the Bola Igida movie, “Omoge Campus.” Before then, she had featured in “Eje Adegbenro,” a film produced by Prince Jide Kosoko.

She was also popular for her roles in TV series such as Papa Ajasco, Awerijaiye produced by Deji Rotimi, and Wale Adenuga Super Story.

She also won the City People Entertainment Award for Yoruba Movie Personality of the Year.
