Social media personality and outspoken activist Verydarkman has recounted a disturbing incident that unfolded immediately after he arrived in Nigeria from his recent trip to China.
Speaking during a live session, he revealed that security agents approached him upon landing, confiscated his passport, and warned him that his life was in immediate danger.
According to him, he was left confused and panicked as officers refused to explain why they were taking his documents.
“The day I landed in this country, security operatives came and seized my passport. When they took it, I thought something had happened. I asked why they were seizing my passport, but they said nothing.”
Security Warned Him of Assassination Threats
Verydarkman said he was escorted into a separate office, expecting an interrogation, only to be told that multiple intelligence reports showed serious threats to his life. Officials advised him to urgently choose a security force the police, army, or DSS for protection.
They reportedly told him that intercepted conversations suggested that several people were allegedly plotting to send assassins after him.
However, when he asked who was responsible, officers declined to reveal any names, saying it involved a group and not a single individual.
Despite the warning, he insisted he did not want any protection.
“They asked again, ‘Who do you want to protect you during this period… The police, the army, or the DSS?’ I told them nobody. I will never use security. The day I go is the day I go. If I am gone today, I’m good.”
