Born in Meopham, Kent, Lauren Bennett’s journey into music began with local talent shows, performing in taverns and bars. Her ambition led her to audition for “The X Factor” as a teenager, though she did not advance past the final 12.

Undeterred, at just 17, she made the significant move to Los Angeles and joined the girl group Paradiso Girls. The group achieved notable success with their 2009 single ‘Patron Tequila,’ a collaboration featuring hip-hop heavyweights Lil Jon and Eve, which soared to No. 3 on the US Dance Club Songs chart.

The Anthem That Rocked The World

Bennett’s career reached new heights in 2011 when her captivating voice became synonymous with LMFAO’s mega-hit ‘Party Rock Anthem.’ The track’s infectious energy and her memorable contribution garnered her global acclaim and cemented her place in pop culture history.

Following this immense success, Lauren joined G.R.L., where she continued to craft hits. The group’s biggest song, ‘Ugly Heart,’ resonated strongly with audiences, achieving chart success in the UK, Australia, and New Zealand. Lauren Bennett’s talent and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her and by the countless fans whose lives she touched through her music.
