The Nigerian police force criticized an orderly for carrying Atiku Abubakar’s handbag, the candidate for president of the Peoples Democratic Party. In a widely shared photo, the unnamed policewoman could be seen standing behind Titi Abubakar.

Abubakar launched a women-focused program on October 5 in Abuja, and her husband posted pictures of the occasion.
Her orderly was seen in one of the photos standing behind her holding a handbag. A netizen brought the situation to the notice of the police authority, and the force spokeswoman, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, reacted.
Adejobi criticized the policewoman’s behavior and promised that she will face the proper punishment.

His tweet reads: “This is not acceptable. We have commenced necessary action on this. We will fish her out and get across to the principal, “The AIG Special Protection Unit has been contacted to assist us get the woman police. Gradually, we will sanitise the system.”
