The remains of four infant children were discovered two weeks ago inside a South Boston apartment in the United States, according to the Boston Police Department.
A post-mortem examination was performed on the remains of two infant males and two infant females, according to police, who are providing an update on the investigation. The autopsies are still being completed.
According to Boston 25, officers were called on November 17 to investigate a large brick building at 838 East Broadway that is divided into several apartments.
The officers discovered what appeared to be a human fetus or the remains of an infant, according to Boston police.
The following day, homicide detectives discovered what appeared to be additional human remains, which were removed for further investigation by personnel from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
