Popular Nigerian dancer and hype man, Poco Lee, has broken his silence following his recent release from custody in the United Kingdom. Addressing the allegations that led to his temporary detention, the entertainer strongly asserted his innocence, stating that his conscience remains completely clear.

Speaking during a video call with social media activist VeryDarkMan (VDM), Poco Lee reflected on the harrowing experience and expressed deep gratitude to those who stood by him. He emphasized that he did not commit the alleged offense, noting that he would have accepted his fate if he were truly guilty.

‘My Mind Is Pure’ – Poco Lee Denies Allegations

Reflecting on the situation, the dancer explained that he has no regrets because he knows he is innocent. “If I had done what they said, I would say I am suffering for my sins. But since I did nothing, my mind is completely pure,” he stated, explaining that his only worry while in detention was the well-being of his close associates and loved ones.

He specifically highlighted Grammy Award-winning artist Burna Boy and prominent socialite Rahman Jago for refusing to distance themselves from him during the crisis. He acknowledged that many public figures typically avoid associating with anyone facing such allegations, making their loyalty incredibly significant.

The dancer also addressed detractors who he believes were secretly celebrating his downfall. He revealed receiving envious messages in the past questioning his constant happiness, leading him to believe that some people were glad to see him facing trouble.

The Controversial Advice: ‘Fear Women’

In a segment of his conversation that has since gone viral, Poco Lee offered a strong piece of advice to men regarding their interpersonal relationships. He urged men to exercise extreme caution in their dealings, suggesting they dedicate a significant portion of their daily lives to being wary of women. “Use 18 hours to fear women,” he advised.

Prior to his release, reports had circulated online regarding the dancer’s detention in the UK over alleged sexual offenses. With his release and subsequent public statement, Poco Lee is looking to move past the controversy while firmly maintaining his innocence.
