Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu, the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has asked former President Olusegun Obasanjo to forgive and forget any past mistakes of the party.
Mu’azu said this at the national headquarters of the party in Abuja on Wednesday, while receiving former Governor of Ogun State, Chief Gbenga Daniel who defected from the Labour Party to the PDP.
He noted that Obasanjo should regard members of the party as his children who needed to be forgiven after making mistakes.
“We have made mistakes and baba, please forgive us. Come and lead us. We are your followers and we assure you that we are all good boys and girls. We have sinned. Baba please forgive us.”
All of us must beg Obasanjo to forgive us. We need to beg him. He is very prayerful and we need to ask him to forgive us so that we can be forgiven. We are your children,” Mu’azu added.
