A deal brokered by the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Swiss government has secured the release of over 21 missing Chibok schoolgirls.
Their abductors, Boko Haram, handed over the girls to Nigerian officials Thursday morning in exchange for four of their top commanders.
The Nigerian government has confirmed the release of the girls who were kidnapped from their school in 2014, but is yet to confirm if it swapped Boko Haram the girls for Boko Haram militants.
