A second year BS in Biology student of Central University and a former Carabao Carroza Queen was crowned Miss Iloilo Dinagyang Queen 2013 at the jam-packed University of San Agustin Gymnasium last January 23, 2013.
Emily Victoria Oke, bested nine other candidates and was named Best in Interview, Best in Talent, Best in Casual Wear, Darling of the Press, Miss 2Go Travel, Miss Uni Home, Miss PLDT, and Miss Rebisco.
Rojessa Anne Peregil was declared First Runner Up, and Froilene Villanueva was the Second Runner Up.
A half Filipino, half Nigerian, Emily Victoria Oke started her modeling career at the age of 16 and won the 2010 Carabao Carroza Festival Queen. Having won the Miss Iloilo Dinagyang 2013 crown, she will be the City of Iloilo’s representative at the Aliwan Festival in Manila competing among the other festival queens in the Philippines.
Judging the three-hour pageant were world-class beauty queens Miriam Quiambao (Miss Universe 1999 1st Runner Up), Ruffa Gutierrez (Miss World 1993 2nd Princess), John Spainhour (Century Superbods 2012 Winner), June Macasaet (Mr. Manhunt International 2012 Winner) and Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia.
