Nigerian music icon Peter Okoye, also known as Mr. P, has once again taken to social media to voice his frustrations with his brothers, Paul and Jude Okoye, in a renewed chapter of their longstanding family feud.
The latest outburst follows an alleged claim by their lawyer accusing Peter of dishonesty in court. The singer, visibly upset, alleged that the family’s publicist was working hard to paint him as a liar.
In a pointed jab, Peter remarked, “I am not May D or Cynthia Morgan,” referencing two artists previously signed under Jude’s Northside Entertainment label. This comment drew backlash from Cynthia Morgan, who responded on Instagram, expressing disappointment that Peter would drag her into his family issues. She recalled past emotional struggles involving the Okoye family and implied Peter was also part of the problem.
Peter countered her statement by revealing he had once offered her a contract in 2020, which she declined, allegedly influenced by perceptions that he was the villain in the family saga.
“Sad you rejected the contract I gave you. Just because they made you see me as the bad egg… God will surely see you through and carry you through the storm,” he wrote in response.
Peter also aimed sharp accusations at his older brother Jude, alleging that Jude’s wife had been secretly controlling P-Square’s earnings by owning the majority stake—80%—in the company. He further claimed that while Lola, Peter’s wife, was publicly blamed for the group’s issues, the real problem lay elsewhere.
“They made it seem like my wife, Lola, was the problem. Meanwhile, it was Jude’s wife who diverted PSQUARE’s proceeds for years,” Peter revealed, before declaring, “I disown them.”
He concluded by insisting that his decision to leave the family business was driven by a desire for freedom, not financial gain or control, maintaining that “the truth shall prevail.”
