Peter Okoye, also known as Mr. P of P-Square, has reacted to criticism over his decision to change his birthday while still retaining the P-Square name.
The backlash followed a suggestion from an X user who advised him to remove the “P-Square” identity from his social media if he truly intends to separate himself from his twin brother, Paul Okoye.
In response, Peter maintained that he originated the name and has every right to continue using it.
He also revisited past issues within his family, alleging betrayal by his siblings. Addressing claims that one of their wives encouraged financial misconduct, he dismissed the accusation, stating that none of them were married at the time the alleged actions began.
Peter is currently in a legal dispute with his elder brother, Jude Okoye, over alleged financial mismanagement. He has accused Jude of diverting funds through another company during his time as the group’s manager.
