Ibrahim Abdulkarim, who is a close associate of Peter Obi, recently shared some insights into how Obi has been responding to criticisms about the quality and standard of the borehole projects in the northern region. According to Abdulkarim, Obi is not bothered by the criticisms and is determined to ensure that the boreholes meet the highest standards of quality. He stressed that Obi’s primary objective is to provide communities in need, regardless of their location, with clean and accessible water.
Abdulkarim further explained that Obi recognizes the importance of reliable water sources for the well-being and advancement of communities. He believes that by investing in these borehole projects, Obi is making a significant contribution to improving the lives of people in the north. On his social media page, he wrote, “If the boreholes Peter Obi is constructing are of poor quality and substandard, we challenge you and those you adore to do something better that will make his own look inferior. Don’t just sit and criticize; demonstrate your ability.”
Abdulkarim also stated that “PO at the Palace” wants people to be enraged about what he is doing and start constructing superior boreholes to make his look inferior.
“He said we have more than 10,000 people who are well to do, if each will do 10 boreholes, that’s 100,000 boreholes in Ramadan alone.”
