Paul Okoye, a former member of the defunct music duo P-Square, shared a cryptic message following the arraignment of his elder brother, Jude Okoye, by the EFCC on fraud-related charges.
Jude Okoye, who previously managed Paul and Peter Okoye under P-Square, was brought before the Federal High Court in Lagos. Reports indicate that he was charged with money laundering involving N1.38 billion, $1 million, and £34,537.59, alongside his company, Northside Music Ltd. The case was presented before Justice Alexander Owoeye, with seven charges filed against him.
In response to the situation, Paul Okoye took to his Instagram story to post a vague message suggesting that his brother’s predicament was orchestrated by someone, though he did not mention any names. Despite the circumstances, he encouraged Jude to stay strong, expressing confidence that the situation would eventually pass.
Paul’s post has since sparked mixed reactions among social media users.
