Daddy Freeze has criticized pastors who condemned the BBNaija reality show but remained silent when Ilebaye promised to pay N12 million in tithing.
The reality show has come under fire from numerous men of God who criticized it for being immoral. After the most recent winner, Ilebaye, revealed to pay tithing from the show’s winnings, Daddy Freeze called out these men of God for remaining silent.
Ilebaye won N120 million in prize money as the winner of the 2023 Big Brother Naija All Stars Edition. Later, when asked about the money, she said she wouldn’t touch it until the 10% tithe was paid.
Freeze was perplexed as to why none of the pastors who had denounced the program had come forward to denounce her for giving the church money from an unethical event.
In his conclusion, he said, “Mammon is the god most of them worship.”
