Veteran Nigerian singer Onyeka Onwenu, famously known as the “Elegant Stallion,” will be laid to rest today in Lagos.
Onwenu reportedly passed away on July 30 at Reddington Hospital, Ikeja, shortly after performing at the birthday celebration of Dr. Stella Okoli, Managing Director of Emzor Pharmaceuticals.
Her family has arranged a funeral service at the Fountain of Life Church in Ilupeju, Lagos.
The ceremony will begin with a Service of Songs from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a private burial at a vault in Ikoyi between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM.
