Four travellers were shot early on Sunday, June 12, along Ijabe/Ila road in Osun State by gunmen.
The victims were said to be travelling in a vehicle heading towards Ijabe from Ila-Orangun when the armed men opened fire on them, leaving four injured.
Osun Amotekun Corps from Odo-Otin and Ila local government areas went after the perpetrators immediately the shooting took place and one of the suspects was apprehended.
The arrested suspect is believed to be the leader of the gang.
The Amotekun operatives handed the suspect over to the police and the Police Command in the state has taken over the case.
