Temmie Ovwasa, a Nigerian musician, discusses the recent dispute involving her former boss, Olamide, and puts the record straight on the assault claims.
The former YBNL princess reiterated that Olamide had never physically or sexually assaulted anyone and issued a warning about the proliferation of rumors.
Temmie went on to say that her complaints were brought on by Olamide’s careless management of her music career, the label’s lack of organization, her personal interactions with Olamide’s wife, as well as other relevant problems.
She let Olamide know what was in her last message before barring him, expressing her displeasure with the stipend he provided as compensation for ending her employment.
Temmie Ovwasa clarified that the amount given wasn’t enough to pay for her living bills or find a place to stay in Lagos.
In a lengthy Instagram story, she wrote;
“Again!! I want to make it clearrrrrr. Olamide did not assault me physically or sexually, he never even looked at me that way!!!!
Please don’t go about spreading stup!d lies! I’m talking about my music, the careless way he handled my music, the lack of structure in the label, the fact that they took my name and now I can’t change it. The people around him, and the experience I had with his wife in his house!
I’m saying he could have done better!! I no dey like on top people’s head!!!
Stop coming to my DMS asking about s3xual harassment! He did not do that!!!
