Popular Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has sparked intense online conversations after launching a scathing critique against seasoned broadcast journalist Rufai Oseni. The rapper expressed deep dissatisfaction with how Oseni conducted a recent interview with fellow hip-hop artist Blaqbonez, suggesting the journalist fell short of his usual rigorous standards.
In a series of candid social media posts, the “Declan Rice” hitmaker questioned Oseni’s professionalism during the session, even hinting that financial influence might have played a role, though he quickly noted he lacked concrete evidence to back up the claim.
The Core of Odumodublvck’s Grievances
According to Odumodublvck, the interview was highly disappointing because Oseni allegedly failed to challenge Blaqbonez on several controversial statements. He claimed that the interview subject evaded critical questions and spun untruths without being properly checked by the host.
“Maybe you were paid. I do not know,” Odumodublvck wrote, addressing the journalist directly. He concluded his public call-out with a sarcastic recommendation that Oseni pivot his career toward sports administration with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), mockingly stating that the journalist “plays too much.”
