Popular rapper Odumodublvck has shared how WizKid played a pivotal role in advancing his music career while he was bedridden, and also opened up about his strong bond with Davido.
Amid criticism from fans for not featuring on WizKid’s new album, Morayo, despite previously hinting at being part of it, the rapper expressed unwavering gratitude to WizKid, vowing never to “bite the hand that fed him.”
Recounting the experience, Odumodublvck revealed that he was hospitalized in Abuja when WizKid shared his song Declan Rice, an act he says transformed his life and that of his family.
Speaking about Davido, the rapper highlighted the support he has received from the DMW boss, emphasizing that Davido has consistently shown up for him in countless ways. He dismissed efforts to create rivalry between him and these artists, affirming that such attempts would always fail.
His words read …
“ABEG. MAKE UNA LEAVE ME
I WAS ON MY SICK BED IN ABUJA
I ALMOST LOST MY LIFE.
ONLY TO WAKE UP AND SEE THAT WIZKID POSTED DECLAN RICE.
IT WAS THE BEGINNING OF SOMETHING NEW FOR ME AND MY FAMILY.
I CANNOT PUT INTO WORDS HOW I FELT.
I HAVE NEVER BEEN THE ONE TO BITE THE HAND THAT FEEDS ME AND I WILL NEVER BE THAT PERSON.
NEVER. #MORAYO
MOVING ON TO THOSE THAT ARE TRYING TO PUT ME AGAINST DAVID
I HAVE LOST COUNT OF HOW MANY FAVOURS AND HOW MANY THINGS HE HAS DONE FOR NOT JUST ME
BUT FOR MY ENTIRE FAMILY AND MY GANG.
AND HE IS STILL DOING MORE THAN I CAN EVEN USE MY MOUTH TO EXPLAIN.
YOU PEOPLE WILL NOT SUCCEED.
🇧🇪🇧🇪🇧🇪🇧🇪🇧🇪🇧🇪”
