Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo and Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers States were among the thousands of guests that witnessed the wedding of President Goodluck Jonathan’s daughter, Faith at the National Ecumenical Centre, Abuja on Saturday.
The duo who have a cold relationship with the president arrived the venue separately.
Amaechi, who arrived the venue early left around 10:30 a.m., while Obasanjo breezed in at around 11:00 am, few minutes after the officiating minister, Pastor E.O. Adeboye had finished the marriage sermon.
Pastor Adeboye advised the bride, Faith to be submissive and regard her husband Godswill as the head of the family, despite the growing trend for women liberation.
He also implored the bridegroom to always listen to the advice of his wife, while he told family members and friends not to interfere in the marriage.
