Students of Obafemi Awolowo University are currently protesting on the streets of Ibadan, the dwindling educational system in Nigeria as the country celebrates its 55th Independence anniversary.

The students gathered at Iwo Road Ibadan and are marching to the Oyo State Government House, Agodi, Ibadan reports Citizen Lukmon Fasasi.

President of the students union, Omotayo Akande, urged President Muhammadu Buhari to implement the 26% education budget as recommended by UNESCO in Nigeria.
