NSCDC Nabs Six Pipeline Vandals in Ondo State

NSCDC in Ondo State have apprehended six oil pipeline vandals in Ago-Odigbo village in Odigbo Local Government Area of the State.

The State Commandant of the Corps, Mr. Waheed Popoola, said that the six Suspects were arrested from a tip off during surveillance by the anti-vandal squad of the command.

The gang was arrested in a forest located at Caravan junction, near Ago-Odigbo village, off Benin- Ore expressway while syphoning petrol from a broken pipe.

He said the pipeline vandals used a pumping machine, which was connected with two valves to a tanker, to pump petrol from the dug trench.

According to the NSCDC commandant, it took his men three days of surveillance in the bush before they could get the exact location.
