As part of its efforts in restructuring and improving its activites the Nigerian Ports Authority(NPA) has introduced an Information Communication Technology(ICT) helpdesk and computer galleries.
Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority(NPA), Mallam Habibu Abdullahi unveiled the facilities at the Headquarters in Marina, yesterday.

The state of the art facilities are established in all the six port (Tincan, Apapa, Warri, Port-Harcourt, calabar, and Onne locations) the two zones and the Abuja liasion office.

The new innovation is designed to facilitate the effective operations of the E-payment solution system which started few weeks back  and provide solution to the complains of the port users.

The ICT help desk will help to tackle hard and software challenges while it also help solve customers numerous difficulties during business transaction.

The initiative is a future-proof,scalable unified communications solution with an architecture built on Windows Server 2012 is supported with a professional call centre module.
