NPA BEGINS VERIFICATION EXERCISE FOR DISENGAGED EMPLOYEES

The management of Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has approved the verification for its 2008 disengaged employees.

The NPA management, in a public notice issued to newsmen recently said that the verification exercise precedes the commencement of the payment of full and final entitlements in line with the tripartite agreement between management, the Maritime Branch of the Senior Staff Association of Corporation, Transport and Communication (SSACTAC), Maritime Branch and the representatives of the 2008 disengaged employees.

The exercise will hold from Monday 25th to Thursday 28th November 2013 in Lagos and from 2nd to 5th December in Abuja and Port Harcourt.

The affected disengaged workers are required to be at the accreditation venues with their letters of appointment, certificates of service, means of identification and letter of clearance.
