Funsho Adeoti, the first wife of Lanre Gentry, the husband of Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe, appears to have regained her confidence following the announcement of her husband’s second marriage.
Funsho has spoken out about regaining her voice after sharing mysterious posts on social media after the news broke last year.
Funsho remarked in a video posted on her Instagram page that it took her a long time to build a voice and that now that she has it, she isn’t going to remain silent.
Funsho and Lanre Gentry married in 1995 and have four children. Their marriage, however, hit a snag in 2017 when Mercy Aigbe accused Lanre of domestic violence. Lanre later married another woman, which sparked debate on social media, with admirers taking sides.
In her words;
“Happy Sunday! It took me quite a long time to develop a voice, and now that I have it, I am not going to be silent. Happy new week and a blessed week ahead.”
It remains unclear what Funsho plans to do with her newfound voice, but fans are eagerly waiting to see what unfolds in the coming weeks.
