Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh’s prominent brand ambassadorship with Promise Land Innovation Limited, the company responsible for the innovative WEALTH App, has officially been terminated. The decision, publicly announced by the company, reportedly follows a thorough review of the actress’s performance and allegations of unfulfilled contractual obligations.
Company Cites Unfulfilled Objectives
In a statement issued recently on September 15, signed by its Executive Director, Gift Emmanuel, Promise Land Innovation Limited confirmed the immediate cessation of its agreement with Dikeh. According to the company’s assessment, which sources like Vanguard Newspaper and The Cable have reported, certain contractual stipulations and promotional objectives outlined in the agreement had not been satisfactorily met by the actress.
The company emphasized that the decision was a direct consequence of a comprehensive performance evaluation, which highlighted shortcomings in the fulfillment of the partnership’s terms.
Missed Meeting Sealed Partnership’s Fate
A pivotal moment leading to the termination appears to be a scheduled performance review meeting set for September 7. Promise Land Innovation Limited stated that this meeting was arranged with the aim of discussing outstanding obligations and collaboratively determining the future direction of the partnership. However, the company reported that Ms. Dikeh did not attend the crucial session, thereby preventing the planned discussions from taking place.
Following this non-attendance, Promise Land Innovation Limited confirmed it exercised its contractual right to terminate the brand ambassadorship with immediate effect. The company has formally communicated the decision to Dikeh and, in its public statement, extended wishes for her success in future endeavors.
Dikeh’s Recent Public Stance
This development comes as Tonto Dikeh remains a subject of public interest for various reasons. Legit.ng previously reported on the actress’s reaction to serious allegations made by her former best friend, Doris Ogala. Ogala had claimed she was instructed to deliver a substantial sum of money to Dikeh, allegedly to ensure her silence regarding a supposed relationship with Pastor Fatoyinbo. In response to these claims, Tonto Dikeh publicly shared a video, appearing seemingly unbothered by the accusations, maintaining a calm demeanor amidst the controversy.
