Enyimba, the eight-time Nigeria Professional Football League champions, have appointed goalkeeper John Noble as their new captain.
Noble takes over as captain following the departure of former captain Austin Oladapo to TP Mazembe of the Congo Democratic Republic.
In 2020, the 29-year-old joined Enyimba from Togolese club ASC Kara.
His outstanding performances for the People’s Elephant earned him selection for the Super Eagles.
Noble, on the other hand, has yet to make his debut for the three-time African champions.
Enyimba also confirmed that Philip Ozor and Emeka Obioma will be the second and third captains.
