The Caretaker Chairman of Udi local government area of Enugu State, Mr. Hyacinth Ngwu, has denied media reports that Fulani herdsmen launched a fresh attack on Akpakume Nze in the council area.

In a statement on Saturday, Ngwu said he investigated the reports properly and the security report available indicated that no Fulani herdsmen invaded the community and no protest was staged by the women of the community, as was allegedly reported in the media.
