In the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) has caused gasoline to crash at all of its retail stations. Results revealed that on Saturday, December 14, 2024, NNPC stations supplied gasoline to drivers for N1,040 per liter rather than N1,060.
According to filling station employees, the N20 slash went into effect on Saturday, December 14, 2024.
Additionally, drivers acknowledged purchasing the product at the current price, anticipating more discounts in the days ahead. Nigerians would now pay N20 less per liter at NNPC filling stations, which sell at N1,040, while other stations price at N1,100, depending on the location. In the meantime, NNPC retail locations now charge a somewhat higher price than other major marks that offer PMS.
